- Overview :

Morocco 10 day grand tour from Marrakech and Essaouira to Fes and Chefchaouen through the Sahara Desert. Over these ten days / nine nights you will see so many interesting places. Including : the attractions of Marrekesh, Essaouira, High Atlas Mountains and Tizi-n-Tichka pass. In addition to the list there is a Ait-Ben-Haddou Kasbah and Ouarzazate city. Besides Amridil Kasbah, Dades valley and Todra gorges. Also go for Merzouga Sahara desert. There you can ride camels, experience enchating sunset and sunrise and spend the night in a Bedouin tent. Also, take a 4 by 4 car for a tour around the Saharan desert of Merzouga. In addition you will tour the Rissani traditional market and Erfoud; the town of fossils. Then proceed to Moroccco’s Switzerland – Ifrane – and the cedar forest and Barbary macaque area. Discover the two of the imperial cities of Morocco, Fes, and Meknes. Include a visit to the ancient Roman city, Volubilis and the blue-washed city of Chefchaouen. Last but not least Tangier becomes the end point of this tour.

- Tour plan :

The beginning of the 10 days tour of Morocco is to pick a client from the airport in Marrakech. Thereafter we shall take a small tour in the city before drooping you off at your place of residence. Later in the evening we proceed for Essaouira city by car to the west. Here you will also get to see the famous goats climbing the trees to get the kernels of the Argan tree. Where we saw the fishing port, the walls that contains some big cannons at it and the old medina. Overnight stay in Essaouira.

In the morning, we head back to Marrakech and this is the day that the Discover the highlights of Marrakech with a local guide activity will take place. It is one of Morocco’s so called imperial cities, alongside Fes, Marrakech, Rabat and Taroudannt. The visit includes : the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, the Ben Youssef Quran or Karam appeal Mosque. And walk on the largest traditional Moroccan souk. Lunch will be taken around midday according to the local time near the Scared Square or the Jemaa El-Fna square. Then, you proceed to Marrakech’s largest mosque- the Koutoubia mosque and the Majorelle garden. Lastly, proceed to your lodge or any other place of your choice. We suggested you to go for a wander on Jemaa El-Fna square on your own.

Our Marrakech guide will meet you at your hotel and after taking breakfast, transfer you early morning. Then, navigate to the High Atlas mountains, and Tizi-N-Tichka pass which is rather interesting. Halts will be made for taking photographs at strategic positions to capture the scenically beautiful terrains. Then we proceed to the Kasbah of Telouat. Then we proceed to visit the famous Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. A village with walls that received a status of a World Heritage Site. Furthermore, the Kasbah has appeared in many movies including : The movies include; Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy…etc. As for TV series, yes even Game Of Thrones. Next we go to “The gate of the desert” That is Ouarzazate. Lit dinner and accommodation in a hotel

After breakfast, we visit the Atlas Studio for films that were shooted there. Visit also the Taourirt Kasbah located in Ourzazate. Then drive southeast to visit Amridil Kasbah encased by palms in Skoura. Following that carry on to Rose valley. Usually, a Rose Festival takes place in May, and the inhabitants present their rose products there. Next, we proceed to the valley of Dades ; we take a break to have wonderful views of the Dades gorges. Then we proceed to Todra Gorges, this is a huge red cliff-sided canyon through the mountains as a result of a course of Todra river. Free time for lunch. You are welcome to Roaring Brook, and to explore the gorges and enjoy the breathtaking view. In the afternoon we continue travelling and get to the Sahara area of Merzouga. Where you replace the carriages with camels and cross the sandy barren. For you, a halt is going to be made at this point so that you can take a glimpse of the artistic sunset by standing on top of the dunes. Then proceed to the desert/village camp. Where you can listening the Berber drums music and dancing around the fire, because stars are your roof on the great space. Lunch at the camp, and then proceed with the dinner too and spend the night in the camp

Rising early in the morning bio advisable in order to being able to have a look at the sunrise amidst the sandy desert. Free time for breakfast. Then you return on camels to Merzouga, where the driver will be waiting for you. We spend the day to get to know the area of Merzouga. Region is truly rich and there is so much to see starting with sand dunes, wild lake, mines, fossils areas and finally fabulous and enchanting oases. Which are in fact ideal places for so many outdoor activities. First of all, we begin our tour at Merzouga, by 4×4 to an ancient eyeliner mine. Next we head to the nomads to see and live a touch of their lives in the handmade woven tent. See how they live while having a Berber tea. The next stop is the Khamlia village where you will have the Gnaoua music and dancing troupes. It population is coming from the sub-Saharan states such as Mali, Sudan, and Niger. Free time for lunch, that means going to the restaurant. After that we take a walk along a grove with palm trees. You can then proceed a few kilometers to have a view of the wild lake of Merzouga which is otherwise known as the pink lake of flamingos. The dinner and overnight accommodation will be at a hotel

In the morning we, leave the desert to visit Rissani town, the former capital of the Tafilalt region. Rissani remain the important trading town of the area with the large animated market of souk. We proceed to Erfoud and have a look at one of the workshop producing fossilized marble After that we make a brief stop along side Ziz River to have a glimpse of the panoramic view of the valley. Lunch is allowed to be taken on own time in the city of Midelt. Then we proceed to the cedars forest which is home to the Barbary Macaque. Free to feed them while comparing the woods. Then we go to Ifrane known to receive the snow fall and had alpine structure houses. As rightly said it is known as the “Switzerland of Morocco. ” Lastly, we transfer you to your hotel in Fes.

Our professional guide will be picking you from your accommodation in Fes after breakfast to take you for the city tour of Fes. The city is among the places referred inn as the imperial city, and it acts as the cultural as well as the religious hub of Morocco. Our first stop of the day is the Royal Palace gate. Then the well preserved medieval Medina that is a world heritage site UNESCO. Still Bab Boujloud or the blue gate is the entrance to the old city or the medina. First of all, it will be necessary to enter the Medina with a guide fluent in Arabic. That for the purpose of discovering The Medrasa Bouanania, the Najjarine fountain, the Tanneries. In the morning we leave to visit Meknes the ismailia’s capital one of the cities of the derb. In which we visit : Bab Al-Mansour, Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal stables, the granary and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Free time for lunch. We then take a thirty kilometer drive out of Meknes to visit the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Volubilis. It is relatively quite intact since it is listed as the World Heritage Site by the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation. It also has many beautiful mosaics which are located this and that and also got many pillars and arched doorways. Next we roam in the ruins and then move to the north, although Ouazzane is on the way, we proceed to Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. Also referred to as the Blue city. The city itself is well-known due to the fact that the buildings and the narrow streets are painted in blue. Accommodation in a hotel for one night.

After breakfast- according to the flight time which should be arranged when planning the day. They can use their free time to going for a walk along the beautiful streets of the blue city. Then, we proceed through the Rif mountains to Tangier airport. Marking the end of the Marrakech 10 day tour
