Morocco 10 day itinerary from Casablanca. Within the 10 days / 9 nights you will go to see so many wonderful places. Beginning with the Casablanca city while on the tour. Next are Rabat; the capital city of Morocco, the town of Chefchaouen which is famously known as the blue city; and also the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Volubilis. Beside visiting Meknes that is known as the Ismaili capital, Fes that is the cultural city and Itfrane, which is referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco. We then proceed southwards to the cedar forest, Midelt, the spectacular gorge of the Ziz valley and Rissani souk. Besides Erfoud, the fossils town and, of course, the Sahara of Merzouga. Where camel riding and sleeping in a more luxurious tent, located in the mid of the desert, is possible. Also found wonderful sunset and sunrise of the Sahara desert. Follow this with a walk in the magnificent Todra and Dades gorges. Go to the most popular place, which is the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. Over High Atlas mountains and Tizi-n-Tichka pass. Then spend wandering around Marrakech accompanied by a local guide. Lastly the tour ends in Morroco’s largest city and the economic capital of Casablanca
Our 10 day morocco tour is designed as follows. The tour begins by picking you from the airport or your hotel in Casablanca. It is also considered as the economical heart and the largest city in Morocco. Among them are, Hassan II mosque, being the largest mosque in Morocco. It is situated on the west fronting the city on a peninsula projecting into the Atlantic ocean. Free time for lunch. Then we take a city tour and proceed to see the Cornish of Casablanca. Accommodation in a hotel for a night.
In the morning after breakfast, I get into the car and we begin the drive through the coastal to Rabat. Tangier is one of the four imperial cities of Morocco and is now the country’s political capital. You will visit : The first one that is the Hassan tower, The second one that is Mausoum of Mohammed V, and the third one that is Kasbah of Oudaya. Free time for lunch. Next we drive to the north passing through the town of Ouazzane, to get to the blue city of Chefchaouen in the Rif mountains. They especially like buildings and alleyways painted in white blue color. Accommodation in a hotel that is not own
That having been said enjoyed breakfast freely and then take a walk around the stunning walkways of the blue city, the Chefchaouen. We then proceed for a tour of the ancient city of Volubilis-founded by the Romans. It is well preserved, because it is listed by the UNESCO as one of the World Heritage Sites. It also houses many beautiful mosaics that are placed randomly accompanied by ancient pillars and archways. After the sight-seeing tour in the ruins, we proceed by car for 30km to visit the city of Meknes. This city is famously reputed as the Ismaili capital or one of the imperial cities of Morocco. In which we visit : About Bab Al-Mansour, Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal stable, the granary and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. We then move to Fes. Accommodation in a Riad for one night
In the morning after breakfast as our initial schedule we will visit the important and chief places of the city with a local guide. As for fes, it is one of the four Imperial cities found in Morocco, in addition it is the spiritual and artistic capital of the country. The first site is Royal Palace gate that serves as the first agenda during the visit in the morning. Then the well preserved medieval Medina – the city that received the status of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The next stop is the Blue gate or Bab Boujloud, the entrance of the old Medina. You will enter the Medina to visit The Medrasa Bouanania, the Najjarine fountain, the Tanneries. And last but not the least the Quaraouin mosque and university- considered to be the oldest unique university in the world. Then we proceed outside the Medina to another area of interest that is the ‘Mellah’, or the Jewish district. Later in the day, you are transferred to an old fort to get a bird eye view of the Medina and the city of Fes. Last but not least, head back to your Riad
From there, after having had a warm breakfast, we proceed to the south going to Imouzzer in order to get to Ifrane. amenities - vaccination, cold, snow and alpine style of housing being some of the aspects making this city well known. That is why it is rightly referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco. Then the tour proceeds to cedars forest, home of the Barbary macaque. It is quite okay to feed them when you are lost in the forests. Then move to Midelt going through the RIF, later we will have free time to have lunch. We then get back to Merzouga crossing the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and driving through the Ziz valley. A break will be made from time to time to take photographs at vantage points on the hill. In the afternoon, we arrived the Sahara desert of Merzouga. Then you shift to camels and proceed across the blazing hot desert which is sandy in nature. A break at the summit of a high dune will be necessary to watch the sunset. Last of all, you proceed to the desert camp. The structure of the camp is somewhat midway between a nomadic tent and a hotel. Where you may listen the Berber drums music, and dance until midnight, and later, around the fire, under clear sky, shining with stars. After lunch the group will start cantering and dinner as well as overnight will be spent in the camp
Get out of bed early in the morning to behold the sunrise which is very much possible to have in the middle of the dessert. Free time for breakfast. You get back to the camp in a 4×4 car or the camels through the Sand dunes of Merzouga where the driver is waiting for you, if you wish you can also do ATVS with extra charges, for the 6th day, We have dedicated only the Merzouga region for touring in our 10 days Morocco tour. Here, there are so many amazing places including the sand dunes, wild Lake, mines, fossils areas, and fabulous oases. Where are equally good locations for so many outdoor activities. First, we begin our tour in Merzouga and go off-road to see an old eyeliner mine. We then proceed to the nomads for some interaction although inside a handmade woven tent. Discover how do they live while taking into consideration the Berber’s tea consumption. The next trip is to the village which is called the Khamlia here you are offered Gnaoua music and a dancing show. Among such states they have populace coming from sub-Saharan countries such as Mali, Sudan and Niamey. Time when students can eat a lunch in a restaurant. Then we go for a walk into the palm trees groves, the modern echo of the desert. Dinner & overnight at a hotel.
In the morning, we depart from the desert to goes to Rissani town, the former capital of Tafilalet. Rissani still one of the most important trading places in the area, with a big market and working very actively on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Then we proceed to Rissani souk for a leisurely walk before proceeding to Erfoud and visiting one of the enterprises of fossilized marble. We then go through the Tape and palm groves of Touroug then Tinjdad before arriving to the Todra Gorges. Todra river has made a fine tan through the mountains just like a grand canyon. These are the gorges ideal for rock climbing. It is also allowed to have a walk in the gorges and to estimate the views that surround you. An opportunity to have lunch in a restaurant during the workday with no restraints as to time. Then to the Todra gorges, via Tinghir, and finally to the desert oasis of Marrakech by crossing the Dades valley at Boumalne. Characteristic moments at the rock formation called “the monkey fingers. ” And in another quiet area on a hill sticking out over the valley of the Dades. Finally make a dinner and spend a night in a hotel
We spend the morning driving to Kalaa Magouna to pay a visit to the Rose valley after taking breakfast. There is a festival in Rose every May where the locals display their rose products. We then continue moving through the palm groves of Skoura. Finally we get to Ouarzazate which is also called the door of the desert. We will equally be watching the studios, filming of which made famous movies. We move to the highly recognized Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A cultural facility and a specially protected area of the World Heritage Site type. Furthermore, the Kasbah has appeared in many movies including : These include; Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy and many more. And TV series such as Game Of Thrones. Then it comes to the turn Marrakesh. Experiencing roads and hinterland of Morocco, driving through Tizi-N-Tichka pass and orienting through the High Atlas Mountains. Breakfast and lunch will be taken when it is convenient at the various stops, and pictures taken at tourist attractions. A one night stay in a Riad in Marrakesh
The remaining of the day is free till our Marrakesh city tour begins with a tour guide after having our warm breakfast. It used to be one of the four imperial cities of Morocco in northern Africa. The visit includes : the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, the Ben Youssef Quranic mosque. And a walk in one of the biggest traditional markets of Morocco. Lunch break near to the Jemaa El-Fna square in mid-day. Next, you go to see the Koutoubia mosque the largest mosque you can see in Marrakesh and the Majorelle garden. Last of all head to your lodging. It is suggested that you can roam around Jemaa El-Fna independently.
In the final day of the outlined tour package, a short tour in the red city of Morocco- Marrakesh will be conducted. Then we drive north to Casablanca airport, during the drive we make some scenic stops. Then transport to the airport. End of the tour
