7 Days Morocco Tour from fes

After having the breakfast you can go out for sightseeing in the blue city. We then proceed to Rabat passing through the Rif Mountains. Rabat is one among the imperial cities of Morocco and is the capital of the country. It is situated in the north western part of Morocco on the Atlantic coast. We depart from Rabat in the morning after breakfast and drive along the coastal road to Casablanca. It is the commercial hub and the biggest city of Morocco. First we will go to Hassan II mosque which is the second largest mosque in Africa. Then we proceed to go to Casablanca Corniche. Last but not the least, we proceed to the interior to reach Marrakech, the red city and one of the imperial cities. You can roam around the well-known Jemaa El-Fna square. Lunch, dinner and one night in a hotel or traditional Moroccan house called a Riad.

Following breakfast, we will be taken around Marrakech and its attractions by a well informed tour guide. The visit includes : includes the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs and the Ben Youssef Quranic mosque. And also walk in the biggest traditional market of Morocco. Break for lunch close to Jemaa El-Fna square. In the second day, you go to the Koutoubia mosque the largest mosque in Marrakech and the Majorelle garden. Last but not least, proceed to the hotel you will be staying at. However, it is safe to walk around Jemaa El-Fna on your own.

You will be met and picked up from your hotel in Marrakech early in the morning. Then proceed through the beautiful High Atlas Mountains, and the dramatic Tizi-N-Tichka Pass. After that, we still do a visit of the historical Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A typical example is a fortified village that is a UNESCO world heritage site. Furthermore, the Kasbah has appeared in many movies including : Movies like Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy and other similar movies. Besides, there are TV series such as Game of Thrones. The other activity that may be done is to eat lunch in a local restaurant within the region. Then we proceed to “The gate of the desert” Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight in Ouarzazate.

After breakfast, we come to pick you up to take you to one of the many studios where many movies were taken. Then proceed to Rose valley, you want to take a tour in Rose valley. There is a Rose Festival celebrated every May when the people bring their rose produce. Next we go to Todra Gorges, where the Todra river has flow through a gorge between high red cliffs in the mountains. You are allowed to walk along the gorges and admire the views that the nature offers. Then, we proceed through Touroug village, Tinjdad, and Erfoud town. Then we get to the Saharan dessert of Merzouga. You will change to the camels in order to cross through the sandy desert. Then there will be a halt on the top of a high dune to watch the sunset. Then proceed to the camp. Where you can listen to the Berber drums music and dance around the fire in the open sky, filled with stars. Dinner and overnight will be in the desert camp.

On the last day of the 7 days tour from Fes, you get up early in the morning and decide to watch the sunrise in the middle of the desert. Having a free time to have a breakfast and after that to come back to Merzouga by camels where the driver will be waiting for you. After that we exit the desert and head to Rissani town, which is known as the former capital of the Tafilalt region. Rissani remains a prominent market town in the area with a large souk, that comes alive on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Then, after wandering around Rissani souk, we move to Erfoud where we visit one of the workshops of the fossilized marble. Next, we proceed with the drive along the Ziz river; we make a stop to capture photos of the Ziz valley. Possible to have a lunch break in Midelt. Then, we proceed to the cedars forest to see the Barbary Macaque monkeys. You can feed them when you are exploring the forest. Then we go to Ifrane, the city of snow, low temperature and houses in the alpine style. This is why it is called the Switzerland of Morocco.
